Accomplishments

Develops affordable housing: over 220 units in 14 properties

Provides housing counseling: over 200 households counseled with more than 20 buyers

Manages rental housing: 168 affordable rental units

Affordable Housing Presentations  

HODC's staff and board members frequently speak with area groups and businesses.  We have spoken to the Glencoe League of Women Voters, the Village of Morton Grove and DePaul University's Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Planning and Development.  Staff members have been members of the Evanston Inclusionary Zoning Task Force, Morton Senior Housing Committee, Glencoe Senior Housing Task Force and others.
